Inspired by Lake Como, Italy. Dancing fountains. Floral conservatory updated seasonally. $100 million Dale Chihuly ceiling in the lobby. Beautiful pool. Great restaurants including Picasso, Le Cirque, and Olives. One of the best Cirque shows O is performed here on an indoor lagoon.
MGM's Lazy River Pool is the best free pool party in Las Vegas. KA is a spectacular show. CSI Experience is fun. MGM Grand has some of the best restaurants in Las Vegas. Joel Robuchon is the best of the best.
Recommended for great video poker/slot machine odds and good restaurants. Used to be the happening place in Las Vegas: Playboy Club, Ghostbar, Rain, and Moon all had excellent views of the Strip. Only Ghostbar and Moon remain open. Fantasy Tower rooms are newer.
Vegas kitsch at its finest. Roller coaster is best experienced at night. Zumanity is a wickedly funny Cirque show. Loved the indoor pub scene, sushi at Chin Chin, pizza at Sirrico's and coffee shop fare at Americas.
Downtown boasts a dozen casinos with better odds than the Strip. Fremont Street Experience is performed here. Swimming pool features live sharks. Carson Tower rooms are older. Rush Tower rooms are newer.
The world's funniest magicians Penn & Teller perform here. Voodoo Lounge boasts a spectacular view of the Strip. Pool is small, unless you pay extra for the larger pool. Rio offers a shuttle to the Strip.
