Well what can be said about the palace i spent the majority of a day here and must say it was well worth it there was alot to see here from the forum shops to the big casino to the atlantis fountain show it was a pretty awesome sight to see how the fountains transformed into a magical kind of show i never would have expected it and the fact that i was never told or knew about the show but it was awesome to see i do have to say it is a bit confusing to manage your way around caesars if you enter from the mirage side you end up in the main lobby then the casino and trying to make your way to the forum shops area was a bit of a trek but if you have patience then it shouldn't worry you too much the palace is a must see if you plan to visit vegas
I stayed here on my very first night ever in vegas the room was not bad for the price. we had one of the new tower rooms with the 42 inch plasma tv, but the view sucked big time we were in the back near the pool but below the roof line so we had a brick wall view out of our window. i didn't get to visit the pool at this property but heard it was great from my step son's word of mouth. one thing you must do while here is do the dinner and show at the TOURNAMENT OF KINGS it was a great show had alot of audience participation and interactment and the food was well....... fit for a king if you like alot of chicken and tomato soup which i do it was very well prepared and tasty and the beer in the souvenier mug($10.00) was excellent and cold.
i was here for a show STOMP OUT LOUD and must say for a young property it was very nice i loved the miracle mile shops very tasteful but way too many vegas themed stores there's a cheap place at about every turn in there lol... as far as the casino it had a really good layout and easy to navigate the only thing i had a beef with were the security personnel they were unhelpful almost like having an encounter with the C.I.A. seriously folks i am dead serious they stand there and won't talk or move unless approached by another of their kind other than that very top notch resort !!!
the mirage what can i say hmm damn it was huge and well... dark for the most part. in the casino anyways. we were here to visit the secret gardens and to have a stroll around the place little did we know it would take again half a day to do it and not see all of it . we did see all of the gardens but to get there was quite the feat walking through the maze of slots and getting lost at the poker area due in part to a sign in the wrong place pointing us to the pool and gardens area. as we arrived in the gardens area it was very nice and well covered with green foliage and trees to shade you from the sun so if you're there on a hot day you can catch a break out there in the shade in the gardens the animals were awesome but one tiger did decide he wanted to mark his territory might i add. as me and about 4 others were sprayed so that was our cue to exit and get to a restroom and clean up lol
Ahh new york new york what's to say about the big uhh property not apple lol... well for starters they have my utmost respect being they have nathan's dogs and lemonade mmm it was to die for . i was just here for a half day or so navigating the shops and stores and of course to ride the MANHATTAN EXPRESS coaster well for 14 bucks i could have done better use of my money but for a vegas trip and a serious coaster enthusiast it was pretty damn worth the 14 bucks as far as the casino it was a little on the small side which i guess could be bad or good. it thought it was easy to navigate the casino amidst the huge construction area downstairs and all the noise in the middle of the day. but as far as trying to find your way around the maze of the arcade to get to the coaster, good luck and have plenty of patience and hope you find someone helpful in directions on how to get there.oh yeah and beware of the ticket redemption counters and the rude personnel who tend them and the kids who walk around trying to snag your kid's tickets out of the game they are playing yes folks this did happen to us
Ahh well the fremont !!! well again as for my last night in vegas we were on our way to the fremont street experience and were hungry and wanted food and pretty damn quick so we visited the fremont buffet and well.... it wasn't what i expected for what we paid the food selection was ok but the food it's self was on the (NOT SO FRESH SIDE)!!! so if you are on a cheap budget and are pretty buzzed and don't care about quality, this is the place for you...
I visited this property and was not impressed at all i thought the layout and direction was horrible. we were there just to meet up with a family friend who resides in vegas and we stopped off and ate at mcd's and the service sucked as did the food i wouldn't reccomend this place to any one. the casino was very cluttered and dark and smelled like an old ashtray was sitting in front of your face the whole time and the staff was not very freindly in giving direction to different parts of the property and had no sense of direction.. the only thing that i liked was the canyon blaster coaster at the adventure dome
